Dear Oak Creek Club Residents,

As we look forward to celebrating Oak Creek Day 2026 today, we want to make everyone aware of the current weather conditions affecting our area.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory in effect until 7:00 PM, and the region is currently experiencing a Code Orange Air Quality Alert. These conditions may pose health risks, particularly for children, older adults, individuals with heart or respiratory conditions, and anyone participating in prolonged outdoor activities.

While Oak Creek Day will continue as scheduled, we encourage all attendees to take appropriate precautions, including:

• 💧 Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.
• 🌳 Take frequent breaks in shaded or air-conditioned areas.
• ☀️ Limit strenuous physical activity.
• 🧢 Wear lightweight, light-colored clothing, sunscreen, and a hat.
• ❤️ Monitor yourself and others for signs of heat-related illness, including dizziness, nausea, headache, excessive fatigue, or confusion.
• 🫁 If you have asthma, heart disease, or another respiratory condition, consider limiting your time outdoors.

Attendance at Oak Creek Day is voluntary, and all residents and guests attend at their own risk. By choosing to participate, attendees acknowledge the current weather conditions and assume responsibility for their own health and well-being while attending the event.
