Officer Battle from Prince George’s County Police shared safety reminders about theft from vehicles, package theft, and scam text messages. Residents were encouraged to remove valuables from cars and report suspicious activity. There was also discussion about possibly organizing a future community safety walk.

Association counsel Ray Via provided an update on the approved single-family homes. The project remains proposed for 28 single-family homes and continues through the County approval process. Additional details, including stormwater and future traffic discussions, will be addressed at upcoming hearings.

Counsel also reviewed new Maryland HOA election law changes, which now require contested elections to be managed by an independent third party.
